If you’ve ever wondered who makes the most faithful partners, it seems that there is an answer to that question.
While dogs are praised for their faithful nature, it seems that their owners share the same trait.
A survey by a dating website for married people who are looking for affairs has revealed that those who own dogs are the most loyal in relationships – or least likely to cheat.

The dating site, IllicitEncounters.com found that just 10% of its members own a dog.
While people who own cats are more likely to cheat with 25% of those surveyed owning a cat.
Out of the 700 people surveyed, 16% owned a fish, 13% had a gerbil or hamster, while rabbit and reptile owners were neck and neck at 11%.

Meanwhile, there were 14% who had a different type of pet or simply had none at all.
Site spokesman Christian Grant said, ‘There has already been a plethora of scientific studies that claim that owning a dog, or dogs, makes you happier and healthier, and now you can add loyalty to that list.’
